Pigout BBQ & Southern Soul Food

I'm so happy that I finally had an opportunity to try this place out. Stopped in for a quick bite.And ordered the pulled pork sandwich, which came with two sides. My sandwich must have had at least a half a pound of pulled pork on it and it was so delicious and tinder. I ordered the collard greens and grits for my sides. They claim to have the best grits in town. So I gave them a try being a southern girl. Stating that you have the best grits in town is a big statement to make. The chees grits were wonderful and delicious and rich in flavor. I would definitely order them again. The collard greens were equally delicious and had a bite to them. Both texturally and in flavor. They were not cooked down to a pulp.Like you see at other places. They were tender and smoky. The pulled pork had a natural smoke flavor in the meat and was still juicy despite me arriving 30 minutes before closing. Staff was overwhelmingly friendly and welcoming. Relaxed atmosphere with a small bar. Options to eat inside or outside are available. The in house, desserts are amazing, and I would highly recommend the pecan pie. The filling is unique and not overwhelmingly sugary and sticky, like most pecan pie fillings. Rather, it was more dense and had a plethora of pecans in it. Two people can definitely share one dessert. The portions are generous with every item on the menu. Fairly priced and lower than most barbecue places in the area. Had a wonderful time and we'll definitely go back again.

Best barbecue in town! Delicious Brisket and Pulled pork so tender, the collard greens and cucumber salad I highly recommend, I had recently had cater for my husbands birthday party they was so much food everyone loved it and plenty leftover! If you haven’t tried this place don’t know what you are missing!!

This place is awesome! The smokers are right beside the outdoor dining and the smell is heavenly. They also have indoor dining but who can resist that smoker smell? The food is so good! Got the half rack of spare ribs and they melted right off the bone. The collard greens are the best I have ever had. The mashed sweet potatoes are great as well as the beans. You cannot go wrong with this place!!

We ordered take out, a whole rack of baby back ribs, 1 lb of pulled pork and a side of macaroni and cheese (homemade) Boy oh boy this was so delicious we didn't even take a picture. But I can tell you there were no leftovers. Even our dogs got the bones..... We all enjoyed this meal.....

I was driving by this place when the smell triggered me. I tried the brisket with beans and fries. The brisket was very moist and crunchy on the edges! Loved it! Beans were perfectly cooked. The fries were salted perfectly too! Only discrepancy was the price hike for takeout vs what was shown online. Otherwise... the food was fantastic! Thank you.

My husband and I had an amazing experience at this BBQ spot today! From the moment we walked in, the service was top-notch. A huge shoutout to Marley—our server—who went above and beyond to make sure my dietary needs were met due to my celiac disease. It’s not always easy finding places that take it seriously, but Marley was kind, attentive, and made sure everything was safe for me. Truly appreciated! Also, major thanks to the gentleman working the brisket (wish I had gotten your name!)—it was absolutely off the chain. Juicy, flavorful, melt-in-your-mouth goodness. And my husband couldn’t stop raving about the fried mac and cheese—definitely a winner. Highly recommend this place for both the food and the incredible people behind it. We’ll be back for sure!

Great family vibe. Marley was our server & she was amazing. Service was great, food was great! Definitely going back. I had the Brisket sandwich. Only thing to consider ls less fat on the Brisket but I'm a meat snobb.

Wow! This is some of the BEST food I've had in town thus far..and we've been here for over 20 years. The food was prepared fresh for an event I attended. The platters emptied fast. I highly recommend!!
